Welcome to Crad's Page of Webness
Last updated: 06/11/2004 |
Every self-respecting computer scientist should have a web page and this is mine. The kitty on my shoulders is Noe (two syllables -- just pronounce all the letters). I found her in my backyard when she was four days old, abandoned by her mother after a small earthquake. I also have a big cat, named Marcel. I adopted him from the wonderful Maddie's Adoption Center at the San Francisco SPCA.
I live in San Francisco's Castro district with my girlfriend, Trina. We live in a wonderful 90-year-old Edwardian building. It has pretty much everything I was looking for in a house: character and history, walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants, easy access to freeways and public transportation, but, alas, no parking. Luckily, street parking is pretty easy in this neighborhood. In June, we finished the work we had done on both the upper level (floors, painting) and the lower level (connecting the units, floors, painting, molding, etc.). It looks just great, and feels even more like home than the 23rd St. house, which we loved.
I play piano in a jazz combo called Gafas de Soul. Our drummer, Shan, came up with the name. "Gafas de sol" is Spanish for "sunglasses," so we figured Gafas de Soul was a clever play on words, and could be translated to "windows on the soul" which is kind of a neat way to think about jazz.
This page was constructed using Microsoft Frontpage and a bunch of other tools. I beg forgiveness to the gods of css for using tables for formatting.
